SCCM – Testing a PXE Deployment in Hyper-V

1. Launch <Hyper-V Manager>.
2. <Right Button> on the Virtual Machine you want to test with and select <Settings>:

   

3. Select <Add Hardware>, select <Legacy Network Adapter> and click <Add>:

   

4. In the ‘Legacy Network Adapter’ properties, select the ‘Virtual Switch’ you want to connect to and enable ‘VLAN Identification’ if required, then Select the <BIOS> Node:

   

5. Move the ‘Legacy Network Adapter’ to the top of the ‘Startup Order’ list and click <OK>:

   

6. The Virtual Machine should now being booting into Windows PE:
